ECUA business offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Offices will reopen on Monday, November 26.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY ONLY:

All residential sanitation, recycling, and yard trash collections for ECUA customers that would normally be made on Thursday, Nov. 22, or Friday, Nov. 23 will be made one day later, on Friday, Nov. 23 or Saturday, Nov. 24, respectively. 

All commercial sanitation collections for ECUA customers that would normally be made on Thursday, Nov. 22, will be made one day earlier, on Wednesday, Nov. 21.  There are no changes to the schedule for commercial services scheduled on Friday, Nov. 22, or Saturday, November 24.

 

SANTA ROSA COUNTY (NORTH-END) and THE TOWN OF JAY ONLY:

There will be no garbage or yard trash collection on Thanksgiving Day, Nov.  22.  Garbage and yard trash will be collected on the next normally scheduled collection day for that route (Monday).  Recycling collection scheduled for Thursday, November 22, will be collected on Saturday, November 24.

 

There are NO CHANGES to Tuesday and Friday collections, which are unaffected by the holiday schedule change.

ECUA business offices, facilities, and the drive-thru payment lane at the Ellyson Industrial Park Campus will be open on Monday, November 12, however, the Customer Service office and the walk-in payment area will be closed in observance of the Veterans’ Day holiday.

All residential sanitation, recycling, yard trash collections and commercial sanitation collections will remain on their usual schedules and will not be affected by the holiday.

ECUA business offices will close at noon Tuesday, Oct. 9, in anticipation of Hurricane Michael, and will re-open on Thursday morning, October 11, at 8:00 a.m.

ECUA collections scheduled on Wednesday for the Perdido Key Area have been moved up to Tuesday, Oct. 9, in anticipation of bridge closures due to Hurricane Michael.  Residents located on Perdido Key, south of the Theo Baars Bridge ONLY, are asked to place their yard waste, garbage and recycling cans out for collection by 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.   Garbage and recycling cans will be collected by the same truck due to the expedited nature of this collection.

Wednesday collections for ECUA Commercial sanitation customers on Perdido Key, south of the Theo Baars Bridge ONLY, will also be made on Tuesday.

Mainland Escambia County:
ECUA Residential and Commercial sanitation services in Escambia County are cancelled for Wednesday, October 10.  Wednesday’s collections will be made on Thursday, Thursday’s collections will be made on Friday, and Friday’s collections will be made on Saturday.   Updates will be posted to the ECUA website Advisory page and released to local media as necessary, should conditions change.
