Bulky Waste Collection Update: Mattresses

We want to keep our customers informed about a recent change that may temporarily affect some bulk waste collections.

Mattresses must now be kept separate from other bulk items when delivered for disposal. ECUA crews are working hard to separate mattresses from other bulk waste during collection whenever possible.

This is not expected to affect every bulk waste pickup. In most cases, our goal is to complete collections as normal. However, in limited cases, a collection may need to be completed in two steps. This means crews may collect either the mattress or the remaining bulk items first, then return to collect the rest.

If all items are not collected at the same time, please know the pickup has not been forgotten. Our crews will return to complete the collection as we work through this process.
