Crews are currently working to restore the area, including site cleanup and demobilization activities. All work on the beach is expected to be completed in advance of Memorial Day weekend, and crews will remain off the beach through the summer season until at least after Labor Day.

About the Project
Phase 2 of the Pensacola Beach Reclaimed Water Main Project began in September 2025 and is part of ECUA’s ongoing effort to expand reclaimed water infrastructure and support long-term water conservation. This phase includes the installation of new reclaimed and potable water mains to increase access to reclaimed water for irrigation, helping reduce demand on drinking water supplies and limit wastewater discharge into Pensacola Bay.
